Costa jokingly reveals his Secret Juice

Paulo Costa has one of the most impressive physiques in the UFC today. This naturally comes with a fair share of accusations from fans and other fighters about him being an all-natural athlete. This question can only be answered by Costa himself or USADA.

Today at the UFC 278 press conference a reporter finally asked Costa to reveal the contents of his secret juice and the answer was surprising, to say the least.

"This kind of dressing, the hat, for looking better or younger, I don't need this, I keep my composure, the secret juice is just a joke but there's a lot that goes before the fight that counts."

While grave accusations, Costa has taken these in stride and even made a few jokes at his own expense. None have become more popular than his “secret juice” something that he can be seen carrying along with him during most training videos he posts.

Costa, carefully evading the ‘ingredients of secret juice’ question, turned his attention to slamming opponent Luke Rockhold in a wild press conference. The two fighters have kept fans engaged with their back-and-forth in the lead-up.

To make things worse, his return to the octagon a year later saw him falling short of Marvin Vettori. Costa was also severely criticized for failing to make weight. Costa will make his return to Octagon against former Champion Luke Rockhold. Paulo Costa’s ‘secret juice’ seems to be in full effect as the Brazilian looks to be in optimum shape for middleweight.

Costa on the other hand is at the final fight in his UFC contract, an impressive win is the only thing that will convince the UFC to re-sign him considering how much of a liability he was the last time he fought.
