Sean O’Malley and Ryan Garcia have been going at each other teasing a potential crossover fight between them. While ‘Suga’ called out the boxer earlier, this time it was Garcia who wanted to face him in an MMA fight. As such, O’Malley spoke about how the exchanges started and warned Garcia even before the fight negotiations began.

On his ‘Timbo Sugar Show’ on YouTube, Sean O’Malley warned Ryan Garcia of stepping into MMA. He detailed the comment he made on Garcia’s callout and ridiculed the idea of the boxer wanting to fight in MMA. As such, he called Garcia ‘delusional’ for even contemplating such a move. Here is what he said:

Someone sent me a screenshot of his Instagram and said he would fight me in the UFC if the money was there. I said, buddy, I would kill you within minutes. This is not even realistic. It's crazy how stupid and delusional it is.

Further in the interview, Sean O’Malley addressed the callouts he made to boxers. He claimed it was not as aberrant as Ryan Garcia calling him out for an MMA fight. As such, ‘Suga claimed he won’t even need a takedown to finish insinuating a stand-up game with MMA gloves would be very different than boxing. He even took it further and said he’d beat ‘King RY’ and Devin Haney on the same night. A while ago, O’Malley trolled the boxers on their stardom level.

While Sean O’Malley and Ryan Garcia were interested in fighting each other, they both had scheduled fights. ‘Suga’ is to fight Marlon Vera at UFC 299 while Garcia is to face Haney in a boxing matchup in April.

Ryan Garcia is confident of beating Sean O’Malley in MMA

Previously, MMA fighters have transitioned to boxing to secure a lucrative deal. But boxing star, Ryan Garcia wanted to cross over to MMA and fight the bantamweight champion, Sean O’Malley. Despite not training in MMA, ‘King RY’ looked supremely confident in beating ‘Suga’. His confident claim received a hilarious response from O’Malley’s coach, Tim Welch.

On the MMA Hour Show, Ryan Garcia claimed he would ‘destroy’ Sean O’Malley in an MMA bout if they ever fought. He just wanted to fully immerse himself in MMA for a while to pull it off. As such, according to him, the only thing stopping this fight was money and he revealed being in conversation with UFC CEO, Dana White about it. Here is what he said:

I know if I put my mind to it and I trained every day...and I've really locked it, he will not beat me. I will come with everything I have and I will destroy Sean O'Malley in the UFC. I've already sent text messages to Dana (White), I'll come to the UFC, pay me a bag, and I'm there. I'm down to do it.

Earlier, Deontay Wilder tried to cross over to MMA and fight Francis Ngnnou, but it never materialized. However, Ryan Garcia was serious about his callout to Sean O’Malley and wanted it to go down. As such, he was also confident in beating Devin Haney in his upcoming bout. Whatever happens, one could not question the confidence of ‘King RY’.
