You never know what to expect from Sean Strickland by taking the microphone to him. Paul Felder got to witness one of the craziest post-fight octagon interviews at UFC Vegas 67.

Sean Strickland was asked to step up on short notice for a fight that many would not take. Strickland not only agreed to fight Nassourdine Imavov for five rounds on short notice, but he also went on to earn a win. Strickland won the fight via decision after a five-round war with Imavov.

After a spectacular win, Strickland delivered yet another amazing post-fight octagon interview. The middleweight fighter is notorious for speaking without thinking twice. “I questioned my cardio a little bit, but then I remembered I got the biggest *string of explicit words*,” said Strickland in the interview pointing to his crotch.

“I can fight for 25 minutes or I can fight for a f***ing hour. I love you guys, man,” Strickland continued pointing towards the fans. “F**k, let’s go! Trump 2024!! or whatever that is…” said Strickland hilariously as the cheers got louder. Strickland is just as wild on the microphone as he is inside the octagon.

Before stepping into UFC Vegas 67 on short notice against Imavov, Strickland faced a tough loss against Cannonier. The top-ranked middleweight fighter closed off the year 2022 with a controversial decision loss. Strickland strongly believed that he had done enough to beat Cannonier last year.

After stepping into the octagon and securing a win against Imavov, Strickland ran straight to the judges and had a word with the judges, cage-side. Safe to assume he didn’t have nice things to say to those judges. Strickland also went on a ramble during the post-fight octagon interview and said he wouldn’t be in this position if not for the judges.

This time, Strickland did enough to impress the judges. All three judges scored the contest in favor of Strickland, 48-47, 49-46, and 49-46. “I beat the second, third-ranked guy and I am only here because of bad judging,” said the fighter.
