Sean Strickland goes off at Pat Barry for dating Rose Namajunas in the most bizarre way possible. The connection between Rose Namajunas and Pat Barry has been the subject of multiple public questions from Sean Strickland. For more than ten years, Namajunas, 30, has been dating her coach, Barry, 43.

Recently, in an interview, Sean Strickland‘s friend Chris Curtis revealed how Strickland confronted Namajunas and Barry. According to Curtis, it took place right after the Carla Esparza loss, for which Barry took a lot of criticism.

He said: “We were on the bus and Rose and Pat are there and Sean just immediately starts going in and it doesn’t stop. I’m like we’re bro, I’m in my own head, they are in their own head. So she lost that fight and that’s the one then blamed him for. We are on our way to the f****** venue and Sean’s like how old is she?”

The timing of this encounter couldn’t be worse as Barry was being mocked online by many fans for giving wrong instructions to Namajunas during the fight which ultimately led to the loss.

Strickland has always been controversial in his tweets, and he continued the same tone while tagging Rose Namajunas and Aspen Ladd in one of his tweets. Strickland mentioned in the tweet that both Namajunas and Ladd are being used by trainers such as Jim West and Pat Barry, and they are the Harvey Weinsteins of MMA.

He wrote: “Is Jim West and Pat Berry the Weinstine of mma? Or is Michael Jackson a better comparison…@netflix is currently contacting @TheAspenLadd and @rosenamajunas for a TV series lol!!!!! OK I’m done gotta spar…”

Strickland mocked the female fighters by asking if Netflix has approached them for any possible series in the future. Strickland has always been open about his opinions on Barry as he has claimed that trainers like Barry adopt a “mentor role” when training female boxers, which he considers to be predatory behavior.
