Dana White will not entertain any questions about Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s “private” appearance at UFC Vegas 61.

Mark Zuckerberg was the talk of the town among the MMA community when he decided to rent out the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Facebook founder let the world be known about his passion for the sport of mixed martial arts a week leading up to his appearance on the UFC Fight Night card.

Dana White, the UFC President himself gave notice ahead of UFC Vegas 61 that the media and fans will not be allowed at the UFC Apex. In a recent interview with Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports ahead of UFC 280, White was asked if he could give us any extra information about Zuckerberg’s appearance.

In classic Dana White fashion, the UFC boss shut down the question. “That’s just nobody’s business, you know what I mean?” said White in the interview. “I was having something that I had going on there on Saturday and you know, nobody needs to know. You guys [the media] are on a need-to-know basis with me. When I need you to know, I’ll let you know,” added the UFC boss in the Barstool Sports interview.

MMA reporters and fans already speculated that something fishy was going on leading up to UFC Vegas 61 earlier this month. The fans and MMA media were planning on grilling the UFC boss, Dana White to ask about the rumors at that time which suggested Mark’s appearance on Fight Night.

At the media press conference and also on his Twitter account, Dana White was constantly trying to get the people to believe that the Meta CEO was not going to make an appearance and he did not rent out the entire Apex. “Mark Zuckerberg did NOT rent out the UFC Apex. That’s total bullsh*t” wrote White in his tweet.

While White was busy bluffing to the world that Zuckerberg was not going to be there at the UFC Apex, headliner, Mackenzie Dern could not hold the secret any longer and revealed “I know Mark Zuckerberg rented out the whole event,” during her press conference.

A lot of reports have suggested that there might be a potential collaboration between Meta and the UFC. White had also mentioned in a podcast that he would be collaborating with the company to make sure the fans get a unique experience while watching fights.
