Confirmed: UFC to leap across the across as the promotion returns to London for another fight card

UFC London

Seems like the UFC is not done with making a statement on London and hence would not miss another UFC London card within this year. The world’s biggest mixed martial arts promotion came back to London after 2 years at the UFC London fight card in February 2022. The main event was headlined by fellow Brit from England and promising upcoming prospect Tom Aspinall, who secured the biggest win of his career when he submitted Alexander Volkov inside the first round.

London has been home to many memorable events, including the one between Hall of Famer Michael Bisping and middleweight great Anderson Silva, where just like Aspinall, Bisping secured the biggest victory of his career as well in 2016 when he secured a decision victory over Silva. After this, Bisping stepped up as a legit late replacement opponent for a title fight, only to win the world’s middleweight title.

According to the official website, “Tickets will go on general sale Friday, May 27, via AXS and Ticketmaster. Fight Club and O2 priority members can purchase tickets from Wednesday, May 25. President of the promotion Dana White said on the occasion of the spectacular delivery of the last fight card in London. “This is the greatest batch of talent we’ve ever seen in the history of the UK. Tonight re-energised me and reminded me of what it’s like to do fights over in the UK. We’re coming back here this year.”

What do you make of UFC coming back to London? Which fights do you think should be made on the mid-year card? The British fighters who fought in February haven’t fought anytime soon in the past, so why not bet on them again and let them deliver another memorable set of fights to be remembered by the British fans? Do you think the U.K. has the greatest set of crowds for combat sports events?
