UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall continues to actively train despite having no fights booked. Recently, he lifted an impressive amount of weights. This happened when he worked out with Strongman Eddie Hall. The duo maintains a good friendship. Hall and Aspinall recently went viral for driving Hall’s demilitarized CVR-T Scimitar tank.

Recent footage on X (@UFCFightTalk) shows Aspinall bench-pressing 127-pound dumbbells on an incline. It showed the strength of Aspinall. One fan could not hold back and commented, “Valentina Shevchenko in left hand and Alexa Grasso in right hand.” From the looks of it, it was not the first time Aspinall may have bench-pressed 127 pounds. Nevertheless, Aspinall staying active in the gym is a good sign as he might only fight again once Jon Jones fights Stipe Miocic this year.

Tom Aspinall has remained at odds with the UFC over his undisputed title fight. Aspinall and Jones have gone back and forth multiple times recently. Moreover, Aspinall also revealed Stipe Miocic refused to fight him at UFC 300. Only time will tell when Aspinall will return to the octagon again.

Despite many MMA pundits/enthusiasts thinking that the G.O.A.T Jones has to fight Aspinall to avoid tarnishing his legacy, the latter is out of luck. Jones will likely retire after fighting Stipe. At least, all indications point to that possibility. The Englishman also respond positively to  Alex Pereira’s recent UFC 300 call-out. If that pairing does come to pass, Aspinall will need the prepping more so than ever.

A few also sneered at the Manchester native’s rival Jon Jones to do the same without injuring himself. Some others noted that this should not be a big deal for a 265lber like Aspinall and that weights don’t hit back. But mostly, fans lauded the impressive strength of the fighter.
