Tom Aspinall has a YouTube channel with over 68.1K subscribers. He recently had British gymnast Nile Wilson on his channel. The two Brits collaborated on a Dead Leg Challenge together. It is safe to say the interim heavyweight champion dished out grave damage.
Tom Aspinall recently taught Wilson a few basic strikes with punching and shin kicks. Aspinall and Wilson also pondered about how gymnasts would fare in MMA. Towards the end of the video, Aspinall got ready to return the favor with a leg kick for Wilson.

Tom Aspinall is a seasoned UFC fighter, that too in the heavyweight division. His leg kicks hurt. Aspinall suggested Nile Wilson plant his leg on the mat and try not to flinch even though despite its difficulty. He tested if Wilson took his advice and fainted a kick but Nile Wilson did not flinch, which was impressive. Then, Aspinall proceeded to kick Wilson with a leg kick. The kick swept Wilson off the ground, and he fell flat.
Aspinall felt sorry for Wilson, but the gymnast got up and said nothing concerning happened to his leg. Nile Wilson is a five-time Commonwealth Games gold medalist and the first British gymnast to win an Olympic medal on the horizontal bar. He secured the bronze medal at Rio 2016. Wilson retired in 2021 due to health concerns.
Jamahal Hill is ready to take on Tom Aspinall
Former light-heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill is ready to face Tom Aspinall. Hill is currently preparing for the upcoming UFC 300 matchup with Alex Pereira in a title fight. But he is open to moving up to fight Aspinall in the heavyweight division.
Jamahal Hill recently talked with GiveMeSport where he said he usually walked around at 240 pounds. ‘Sweet Dreams’ said he could move to the heavyweight division and take on much heavier opponents. Hill felt all that mattered was who could hit whom first. As such, his speed and power remain strong enough to defeat someone like Tom Aspinall.
Aspinall is currently waiting for a title shot against the winner of Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic, who are both currently out due to injuries. There have been rumors of the interim champion fighting Curtis Blaydes next so it will be interesting to see what becomes of Aspinall’s future.
