BKFC, also known as Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, is an American fighting organization. As the name suggests, the sport involves fighters in a ring competing in bare-knuckle boxing. It is a brutal sport as there are no gloves which can cause bruises due to constant batters. The fight organization has risen in popularity over the past few years and is considered one of the most popular. With UFC superstar Conor McGregor involved in recent events, BKFC has been placed under the spotlight.
The BKFC 41 that took place recently was a massive success. Popular fighters like Eddie Alvarez, Chad Mendes, and Ben Rothwell took part in the competition. The fight was headlined by former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold against Mike Perry. The fight witnessed Perry winning via TKO in the second round. The audience in the arena was electrified as soon as an unexpected UFC superstar Conor McGregor visited the arena.
Following Mike Perry’s career-defining win against Luke Rockhold, the fighter called out Conor McGregor. In the post-fight interview, Perry said, “Can I get a face-off with Conor McGregor man? That would be legendary.” The Irish megastar is seen smiling ringside as the fans in attendance cheer for them. The fighters immediately face-off, which thrills the fans. The ‘Notorious’ praises him for the win by saying, “Fair play to you, respect to you.”
The competitiveness between the fighters seemingly builds up. “I’d fight you no problem, I am never retiring,” yells Conor McGregor in Mike Perry’s face. When the Irishman was asked about the event, he said, “It’s an incredible set up here. Incredible matchmaking, incredible story-telling, you had to come here. I flew straight away, I was not gonna miss this and it did not dissapoint.“
