With the shooting of the new The Ultimate Fighter season already begun, the two coaches have been announced to be Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler. But the news of announcements doesn’t just stop there for the fans, former UFC fighter Kris Moutinho is also set to return as a participant.

McGregor will face off against Chandler in the Octagon and as a rival coach in The Ultimate Fighter season. But the excitement doesn’t end there, since Moutinho – famous for taking multiple punches to his face against Sean O’Malley at UFC 264 (coincidentally Conor McGregor’s last Octagon appearance) is also set to participate in the show.

Moutinho made the headlines for taking multiple punches to his face continuously in every style possible when he fought in his debut against Sean O’Malley. He had another fight, against Guido Cannetti, which he lost, and then was cut off from the roster of the UFC.

It would be nice to see a fighter like Kris Moutinho, who has proven himself enough to be durable, be trained by either McGregor or Chandler to not get punched as many times as he has been punched. Safe to say, this season of TUF will be interesting to watch.

When the news of Kris Moutinho’s return was announced, people in the community went crazy with the prospect of him becoming a fighter who can also defend. Fans are excited to see him back in the octagon.

Conor McGregor will be facing off against Michael Chandler in TUF as coach. But fans are not just excited to see this matchup or even Conor’s return but are now even more excited to see the fighter with an unbreakable chin make a return.

The prospect of a fighter with a heart like him and a chin like that getting coached to not get punched as many times as he has been punched and dodged, gives him a chance to become an established fighter. What if he wins it and gets a chance against Sean O’Malley again? Things could get interesting.
