The main card featured the main event fight of Leon Edwards vs Kamaru Usman. Both Edwards and Usman have decent contracts. Moreover, both of them received PPV points due to their status as the present and former champions, respectively.

They took home over a million dollars. Edwards earned a total of $1.3m, while Kamaru Usman took home $1.6m. Neither fighter showed any sign of injury. Hence, Edwards might make a quick turnaround against Colby Covington in the summer.

Justin Gaethje defeated Rafael Fiziev in the lightweight co-main event of UFC 286 and took home a whopping $1.05 million. Fiziev, who showed great competitiveness and heart, was paid $170K. 

Gunnar Nelson beat Bryan Barberena via a nasty submission hold and won the fight in the first round. Nelson was paid $241K for the fight, whereas Barberena got $76K.

In the middleweight division, former title contender Marvin Vettori shut down Roman Dolidze via unanimous decision. Vettori is an established star of UFC. He earned $315K for the fight. His opponent, Dolidze, had an unfortunate loss and earned $65K from the fight.
