Belal Muhammad is a UFC welterweight fighter who has been vocal about his support for Palestine. A recent video of him confronting a man with the Israeli flag is making its rounds on social media. This came during the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict that Belal has been very vocal about.
The video shows Belal Muhammad confronting a man with the Israeli flag on his back. This happened in a ‘The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’ store at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. This went on for a while after which the UFC fighter finally turned his back and left. The video attracted much attention from netizens who went to the comment section to express their views.

Belal Muhammad has carried the Palestinian flag into every one of his fights. He was born in 1988 to Palestinian immigrants Abdullah and Maha Muhammad, from the Al-Bireh region of Palestine.

Although he was born in Chicago, Illinois, making him American by nationality, Belal Muhammad maintains a strong connection to his Palestinian heritage. Belal proudly displays his Palestinian roots, often carrying the Palestinian flag in his fights as a symbol of identity and support for the cause. Muhammad wrestled in high school and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to become a lawyer. In 2016, he signed with the UFC after defeating Steve Carell to become the Titan Fighting Championships champion.
In the UFC, Belal Muhammad is also known as “Remember the Name.” He has a UFC record of 14-3-0, with one no-contest. His longest win streak is nine fights, from 2019 to 2023. His last fight was against Gilbert Burns on May 6, 2023, at UFC 288 in Newark, New Jersey.
