Muhammad Mokaev is a rising star in the UFC. He made a promise regarding a championship soon. Reflecting on his performance in 2023, he acknowledged that he may not have performed at his best in certain instances in the cage. However, the young Dagestani-British fighter took pride in his achievement and made his statement for the UFC belt. Here is what happened:

Mokaev is a talented wrestler who won the British national championship. However, citizenship issues prevented him from traveling outside the country to compete internationally. This led him to an MMA gym, where he found his calling as a cage fighter. Now as an undefeated fighter in the UFC Mokaev reflected on his performance this year in 2023 and declared his aim for the championship belt. Here is what he wrote on X (previously known as Twitter): 

2023 was a cr*zy year, still managed to get 2 fights with heavy injuries , never pulled out, never missed weight, always asked for higher ranked opponents, maybe I didn’t performed my best but who cares, I’m coming for the belt! 5-0 within 1 year and 6 months in the UFC age of 23. InshaAllah belt time very soon!

Muhammad Mokaev is a 23-year-old flyweight MMA fighter with a professional record of 11 wins and no losses. He is also known as “The Punisher”. Mokaev is currently on a five-fight winning streak in the UFC, having defeated Cody Durden, Charles Johnson, Malcolm Gordon, Jafel Filho, and Tim Elliott.

Muhammad Mokaev made his amateur MMA debut in November 2015. He quickly rose to the ranks and became the flyweight champion for Tanko FC in 2017 at the ripe age of 16.

In 2020, Mokaev made his professional MMA debut against Glenn McVeigh at Brave CF 37 in Stockholm, Sweden. He earned a fight of the night bonus after the contest. He now trains in Manchester and is affiliated with the KHK MMA Team.
