WWE and Endeavor Group have come together to collaborate on a joint venture which will skyrocket the overall business of both companies. Both UFC and WWE are the biggest companies in combat sports entertainment. While Dana White has successfully led UFC to make it the most successful sports brand in the last decade, WWE has been at the top for a long time now. Both companies have mostly been in a great relationship throughout their history. Fighters from each company have participated in the other and the fans absolutely love it when any crossover like this happens.
However, recently WWE chairman Vince McMahon made a surprising announcement of both UFC and WWE collaborating together. McMahon in a public statement mentioned that this merger between two companies will bring out new changes which will ultimately lead to overall developments.
He said: “Together, we will be a $21+ billion live sports and entertainment powerhouse with a collective fanbase of more than a billion people and an exciting growth opportunity. The new company will be well-positioned to maximize the value of our combined media rights, enhance sponsorship monetization, develop new forms of content and pursue other strategic mergers and acquisitions to further bolster our strong stable of brands. I, along with the current WWE management team, look forward to working closely with Ari and the Endeavor and UFC teams to take the businesses to the next level.”
As part of the agreement, Endeavor will establish a brand-new, publicly traded business that will manage both the UFC and WWE. WWE shareholders would keep 49% of the new firm while Endeavor/UFC would own 51%.
How will UFC president Dana White expected to react to this deal with WWE

UFC president Dana White will be very hyped about the deal given he is a huge fan of Vince McMahon. White has always been a fan of McMahan and it is natural because McMahan was the individual who revolutionized the PPV system in the combat sports world. In an interview with the media, White opened up about his respect and admiration towards him.
“I got stories about Vince for days,” White said. “What that guy built and what he’s done is incredible. He’s been doing it for 50 plus years, I watched that stuff as a kid, and to still be here doing it now, he’s phenomenal. He’s a killer, he’s buried the hatchet in my back a few times, but that’s what you’re dealing with. You don’t deal with a killer and not expect him to try to kill you. I have nothing but respect for Vince, though.”
Fans have been expecting a move like this for years due to the great relationship between both companies. Now that it’s official, it will be interesting to see what new things this partnership brings to the table.
