The former multi-division kickboxing champion‘s debut in UFC was long due. The fighter finally made his debut under the UFC banner in the year 2021. His first fight was against Andreas Michailidis against whom Pereira put the entire division on notice with his devastating flying knee knockout.

In his second fight, Alex Pereira fought a great fight against Bruno Silva to secure a decision victory. As expected by many UFC fans, the promotion offered Pereira, who had just entered the rankings, an opponent of the #4 ranking in the middleweight division.
