Nate Diaz ends an interview when he wants! The Stockton Slugger waits for nobody’s call to get up and leave an interview. ESPN MMA’s reporter learned it in the most hilarious way possible in a recent interview.
It is Nate Diaz fight week, ladies and gentlemen and the Stockton Slugger is already giving us some quality entertainment. There’s a reason why fans love the UFC superstar and his interviews just prove that. The fighter is ready (well, not really) to go on his press run ahead of the UFC 279 pay-per-view event.
Nate returns to the octagon after a year to fight one of the most dangerous fighters on the roster today. Diaz will take on Khamzat Chimaev in the main event of the UFC 279 pay-per-view card which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Ahead of his fight, Nate sat down with Brett Okamoto from ESPN MMA for an interview
The recent interview from Nate is gold as Nate talks straight from the heart with no filters and gives his honest opinion on what could be his last fight in the UFC octagon and also some hilarious stories from his time in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Nate was in the middle of one such story before he thought it was time to leave the interview.

In the interview, Nate shares an amazing story about his time in the WEC with Brett Okamoto. Diaz talks about how he is been amazing all his life and is never lame. “I remember fighting in the WEC. Like one of my first or second fights and I had this game plan to be like hit, move, take down, and do this. And 10 seconds went in and it felt like it was five minutes,” said Diaz.

“It felt like forever and somebody was like ‘booo’ and I’m like ‘WHAT’, and swung, started squabbling, this dude got taken down because I refused to be lame,” said Nate Diaz before he took moment to think about something and then ended his interview then and there.
“This was a great interview, Brett,” said Diaz before walking off the set. The fighter has always been a puzzle to solve. He and his brother Nick Diaz will forever be two of the most iconic fighters to ever grace the octagon and will forever be appreciated for “KEEPING IT REAL”.
There rarely is a dull moment with Nate Diaz and the fighter has been in the sport for more than 15 years. His first fight in the UFC was in 2007 and is now fighting the 34th fight of his career at the age of 37 years old.
