Legendary boxer Tyson Fury congratulates the new welterweight champ at the WWE Clash at the Castle event.

Two weeks ago, UFC crowned its second-ever champion from the United Kingdom. Leon Edwards made his nation proud by dethroning the long-time champion, pound-for-pound best, Kamaru Usman at UFC 278. The entire fight couldn’t have been better. Leon had a “Rocky” moment and stunned the entire world with his headkick knockout of the Nigerian Nightmare.

It is not often that you get to see an underdog like Leon finish a champion with a comeback that was straight out of a movie. For the longest time, Leon’s talents went unnoticed and he got barely any support during his amazing winning streak. Now that the fighter has become the welterweight champion of UFC, he is getting the recognition that he deserves.

Leon was at the WWE Clash At The Castle event which was held in the UK. The UFC champ met former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and received great praise from the legend. “I’m just here with Leon Edwards, the new UFC champion. Get up there my boy, Get up!!!” said Tyson in a video he posted with Rocky on his social media.

Tyson Fury advises Leon Edwards to “make paper”

To be recognized by the biggest boxer in the UK right now is huge praise for the UFC welterweight champion. Leon is only the second fighter from the UK to win a belt in the UFC. Edwards has been one of the unluckiest fighters on the roster and had to wait for a long time to get his deserved title shot. When almost everyone gave up on his chances to win the fight, Leon pulled off a stunning headkick knockout and created history.

Leon has been living the best life since becoming the champ and has been getting a lot of praise from the entire world for his feat. He is being paraded by his city of Birmingham. And now, The Gypsy King himself showered praise and had some valuable advice for Rocky Edwards.
