Dana White gets duked at The Ultimate Fighter
There are very few promoters like Dana White. The UFC head honcho is one of the most entertaining personalities in the fight business and is one of the most successful promoters in combat sports history.
Since becoming the UFC president in 2001, Dana White has made sure that the Ultimate Fighting Championship sees nothing but success. One of the elements that have contributed to the major success of the promotion is The Ultimate Fighter show.
Until TUF 23, not many knew the UFC boss was scared of heights. In the dunk challenge between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Claudia Gadelha, White gave Gadelha the opportunity to dunk him for a $15,000 challenge. Dana didn’t really think this challenge through until he went and stood at the top for Claudia to dunk him.
TUF is one of the most entertaining reality shows to watch if you’re a fight fan. The coaches’ challenge is one of the most interesting parts of the show. So much so that, Dana White himself always makes sure he takes part in it.

“This thing is shaking like a motherf***er,” said White as he stood nervously on top. Claudia showed no mercy and White was left with no choice but to get dunked into the tank of water. “The girls been doing it all day and I’m the biggest P**sy here,” screamed White before going down.

Dana White likes the idea of Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov as TUF coaches
Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson is a fight that the fans never got to see. After being canceled several times, the fans are still upset that they couldn’t see two of the greatest lightweights of all time face each other in the octagon. However, recently the idea of the two lightweight greats as The Ultimate Fighter coach has been floating around White seems to entertain it.
In an interview with Barstool Sports, the UFC boss said that he will “absolutely entertain that idea.” Khabib is retired and Ferguson is clearly past his prime. However, that doesn’t rule out an entertaining reality show with the two given their past and the fact that their rivalry is still well alive today.
“Hopefully they’ll get pissed off enough at each other that they’ll actually want to fight,” said Dana White laughing at the idea of Khabib vs Tony. Would you like to see a TUF with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson?
