Controversies and The Notorious One go hand in hand. Back in 2013, a young Conor McGregor who was rising through the ranks of UFC found himself in yet another controversy when he posted explicit comments about Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate.
A fan had asked Conor McGregor about who would he choose between Miesha and Ronda Rousey for a night before the world ended. The Irishman replied, “One riidin d**k, one lickin ma toessssss.” The Irishman is no stranger to making vile comments about his peer. Recently the fighter has been on a Twitter spree where he feuds with his peers. But McGregor was quick to apologize when his comments were received with a lot of outrage.
Conor later suggested that he had quoted a line from a song. Moreover, the Irishman later posted an apology on his Facebook page after releasing his mistake. Conor posted on Facebook, “I would like to personally apologize to both Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. This morning I quoted a song on Twitter in an attempt to make a joke, which I now see was totally unacceptable and offensive. I have infinite respect for Miesha and Ronda as individuals and as athletes”.
Although McGregor later removed the initial tweet, the apology is still accessible on his Facebook page. The former UFC champion expressed his admiration for women’s MMA and the two athletes he singled out. Since 2013, women’s MMA has risen significantly, with the female UFC divisions being extremely competitive and serving as the main attraction at important UFC events with their title fights.

In a video he posted, McGregor can be seen appearing to stroke a woman’s head before the camera switches to his yacht’s stunning ocean vista. Although ” The Notorious One” quickly deleted the post, it had already been reposted on other platforms and is still available on the internet.
