Aldo was the reigning undefeated featherweight champion of the UFC and Conor changed all of that in 13 seconds. But in a recent interview, Jose Aldo revealed that he and Conor are actually friends and hold each other in high regard.

“I do have a lot of respect for him, we are friends. We follow each other on Instagram and exchange dialogue there… I have nothing but respect for him, we have a good friendship,” Aldo said. Jose Aldo actually reclaimed his title back after defeating Frankie Edgar to become the featherweight champion again.
