The rise of UFC welterweight fighter Khamzat Chimaev has been very rapid. After only four fights in UFC, Chimaev faced the #2 ranked fighter Gilbert Burns and emerged victorious. While many fighters tried to derail Khamzat’s hype train, it was simply not possible. Chimaev has amassed a huge fan following due to his dominant performances. This has always been the case with Borz. He even won over the Indian crowd after his win at Brave CF 20.

Khamzat Chimaev started his professional MMA career in 2018 and won his first 2 fights with small MMA federations. After going 2-0, he signed with a middle eastern organization Brave Combat Federation. He made his debut at Brave against Marko Kisic. Khamzat won the fight via TKO and later headlined Brave CF 20 in India against Sidney Wheeler. Khamzat finished the fight in under 35 seconds as he scored a takedown and overwhelmed his opponent with a flurry of punches.

Borz made his presence known amongst the Indian masses and was mobbed by the crowd after making quick work of Wheeler. Khamzat made his way through his newly made fans as they tried to get a photo of Borz. Khamzat had an undefeated career in Brave CF before he eventually continued his winning streak in UFC. Brave President Mohammed Shahid has stated that a huge chunk of Khamzat’s fan following is from India. Brave’s fighting model and Khamzat’s dominant performance were the key factors for making it possible.

Khamzat Chimaev is still an undefeated fighter with a record of 13 wins and no losses. Chimaev was in talks to fight middleweight fighter, Paulo Costa. However, Paulo Costa went with a different opponent for his fight at UFC 291. Meanwhile, Khamzat is very close to finalizing a fight with the former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

One of UFC’s funniest fighters, Paulo Costa, is set to fight against Ikram Aliskerov at UFC 291. The card is already stacked with great fights and Paulo’s addition to the card only adds to the fun for UFC 291 media day. However, the welterweight fighter and UFC’s fastest-rising star Khamzat Chimaev has some words for Paulo Costa.

After Paulo Costa signed a new contract with the UFC and Dana White announced Khamzat’s next fight at middleweight, a fight between the two was almost agreed upon. The bout was originally set to take place in October at Abu Dhabi.

However, Paulo Costa announced his next fight with Ikram Aliskerov, who faced his only defeat against Khamzat. Borz took to his YouTube channel and spoke his mind on the recent situation. “Paulo has spoken a lot of sh*t about me. That guy, I want to smash him. I want to kill this guy. I was doing a lot of things, and he wants to fight with the other guy,” said Chimaev.

Khamzat also gave his predictions on the potential winner of Paulo’s fight at UFC 291. “I think the guy will beat him, as well. Paulo is not good. He is sh*t, he just talks too much. He beat nobody,” added Borz. Although Dana White announced Khamzat’s next fight at middleweight, all signs point to him fighting Kamaru Usman next.
