Conor McGregor was charged by Samantha Murphy that she was assaulted and had a broken arm when she tried to escape from the Irishman’s yacht that was booked for his 34th birthday. Samantha has now dropped her charges after suspecting that the two attacks on her residence were because of McGregor.
Earlier this year, when McGregor threw a party for his 34th birthday on a yacht in Spain, a woman who was a guest at his party jumped out of his yacht and reached another boat, and then got herself treated in a hospital. She had a broken arm and a few bruises.
The woman in question, Samantha Murphy, has since dropped charges against McGregor after a brick was thrown at her car window and she was attacked in her residence. Even though there is no evidence that this was done by Conor, she suspects it was him and out of fear has dropped the charges.
The charges were dropped when the court had issued orders for CCTV footage and witnesses to be shown, but now that the charges have been dropped the orders won’t go through anymore. Conor McGregor seems to have saved himself just before he is scheduled to face Michael Chandler in his return to the UFC.
Conor McGregor vs. Artem Lobov: Proper No. Twelve case
Conor McGregor seems to find himself in many unappealing issues – be it with some random old man in a pub, or a woman, or with his sparring partner. McGregor’s former sparring partner, Artem Lobov, filed a case against Conor in their dispute for Proper No. Twelve.
Lobov claimed that during the development of the whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve he had a major role to play. He was promised 5% proceeds from the sales of the whiskey, which he hasn’t been given. Conor has denied the presence of any such formality present in the contract, and the case is still going on in court.
Even though there are so many cases and scandals surrounding McGregor, fans still anticipate his return to the Octagon keeping in mind his entertainment value. He will soon be returning to the Octagon later this year against Michael Chandler.
