Zabit Magomedsharipov has recently made a shocking decision. The former featherweight contender decided to decline a title fight for his potential return to the UFC. This has left both fans and the promotion confused.

Magomedsharipov was an exceptional featherweight during his days in the UFC. The Russian fighter recently took retirement last year in an unforeseen announcement. The Russian fighter was regarded as one of the promotion’s most promising prospects. He decided to give up fighting just as he was about to compete for the coveted UFC championship.
Reportedly the UFC officials recently extended an offer to Magomedsharipov. They presented him with an immediate title shot upon his return to the promotion. His only six fights in the span of two years in the UFC are consecutive victories.
