Paddy Pimblett is all set to make his UFC debut. He will be taking on Luigi Vendramini on the 4th of September at UFC Fight Night 191, which is headlined by Darren Till vs Derek Brunson. Having plied the majority of his trade in the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship, the Scouser will be looking forward to starting with a bang.

In a recent interview with Submission Radio, Paddy Pimblett claimed that he would “absolutely murder” his opponent Vendramini. Although he did acknowledge Vendramini’s finish record, Pimblett stated that the Brazilian would have never fought someone like him.

Paddy Pimblett was quoted as saying, “I’ve fought tough guys in and out throughout me whole career. And, it’s gonna show when I get hold of Luigi and I’m gonna absolutely murder him. That simple. He’s never fought anyone like me. And he’s gonna think he’s just going to walk forward and throw bombs and I’m going to knock him clean out.” [h/t firstsportz.com]

Pimblett is coming off a win over Davide Martinez at Cage Warriors 122, earlier this year. The Liverpudlian has a record of 16 wins and just 3 losses in his MMA career, and he’s just 26. He looks beyond confident ahead of his UFC debut. Pimblett made his MMA debut on the 16th of October, 2012 in a promotion called OMMAC when he was just 17 years old. In only his fourth fight he signed up for Cage Warriors Championship.

His opponent Vendramini on the other hand, has a record of 9 wins and 2 losses. However, he has struggled since joining the UFC. He has a record of just 1 win and 2 losses. He is coming off a loss against Fares Ziam at UFC 263. He lost the fight via. a narrow majority decision. He will be looking forward to getting back to winning ways when he takes on the Liverpool man.
