Sam Alvey vs Ian Heinisch booked for Middleweight clash at UFC event on February 5

Sam Alvey and Ian Heinisch
Perhaps this might be UFC middleweight Sam Alvey’s last chance to stay with the company as he sets on to fight fellow middleweight Ian Heinisch in February of next year at a UFC event which is as of now assumed to be a fight night. The reason this can be claimed as Alvey’s last chance with the UFC is that the middleweight contender has lost 6 of his last 7 fights and the 1 exception was a split draw.
Heinisch too is on a losing streak, but with only 2 fights. Nevertheless, both the fighters need to prove themselves in desperate need of attention of the competition and also to get back on the winning track. Alvey, a veteran of 50 pro-MMA fights, has 19 knockout wins in his career. Ian is although more of a decision fighter also has 5 knockout wins in his column of the overall 14 wins he has. So this fight can go to a decision but one has to stay attentive all the time as a punch can land from anywhere.
Alvey’s last fight took place in August of this year where he lost to Wellington Turman in a split decision. Ian’s lost loss took place in July when he was finished by Nassourdine Imavov via TKO.
