Two of the biggest superstars in the UFC, Sean O’Malley and Conor McGregor recently met with each other in a packed arena. The bantamweight fighter recalls his meeting with the “Notorious”.
In a recent Dallas Cowboys game, Sean O’Malley and Conor McGregor happened to be in the same suite. O’Malley and Conor have both been nothing short of exciting inside the octagon when they fight. The Suga show has revealed many times that he wanted to impact the sport of MMA like the Irishman did and the meeting was very special to Sean.
Sean is scheduled to take on Raulian Paiva at UFC 269. UFC 269’s pay-per-view card kicks off with Sean’s fight and the bantamweight fighter is excited to kick off the event’s main card. Speaking to the media ahead of his huge fight, Sean spoke about his meeting with the former two-division champion in the Dallas Cowboys game.

During the press conference, when asked if Conor gave the bantamweight advice, Sean said, “It was a very short meeting. It was a very loud stadium. He had a couple of shots of proper 12 so the Irish accent was extra thick. It was very cool meeting him.” Sean said the stadium was packed so he could not have a very long conversation with the superstar but he sure got some compliments.
Sean is coming off a fight against Kris Moutinho at UFC 264. The fighter knocked out his opponent in the last few seconds of the round and put a complete show for the audience. Conor, who was part of the same card complimented Suga on his amazing performance. “He thought it was a cool performance, my last fight. It was very loud….but it was a very cool experience,” said O’Malley.
