The number 4th ranked UFC Light Heavyweight fighter and former title challenger, Thiago Santos is booked to face the number 10th ranked fighter, Johnny Walker in his next outing at the UFC Octagon.

Thiago Santos took the former UFC champion, Jon Jones, into deep waters at UFC 239 and lost the fight via split decision. After that, he has undergone knee surgery for both legs.

Santos’s last win came against current UFC Light Heavyweight champion, Jan Blachowicz on UFC Fight Night: Santos vs Blachowicz. After being on a three-fight losing skid, he knows this win is important for his survival in the promotion.

He added, “On September 25, I’ll show I still deserve to be a UFC fighter. ’ll show that I deserve to be the fourth-ranked light heavyweight in the world. I need to show everyone who I am.”

“My last fight didn’t show it. In this fight, I want to show I’m better now than before my surgery (in both knees, following his Jon Jones fight). I’ll try to finish him and show that I deserve to fight for the belt again.” {H/T BloodyElbow}

This fight is booked to headline the UFC Fight Night on 25th September. Do you think Santos will come back to the win column after this one or his track record will one more loss in it?
