Throwback to when Tyson Fury mocked Deontay Wilder ahead of their rematch weigh-in in 2020

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will be facing off in a heated trilogy fight on the 9th of October at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Wilder will be hoping to exact revenge at least this time, although the odds are stacked against him. Fury, meanwhile will be giving his all to defend his WBC and the Ring heavyweight titles.

With the weigh-ins just concluding yesterday, Top Rank Boxing released backstage footage of Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder just before their weigh-ins during the rematch back in February 2020. The funny clip shows Fury blowing a kiss to Wilder’s fiancee Telli Swift, all while Wilder lays on her shoulder with his shades on.

Swift, can then be seen controlling her laughter, before Wilder flips the bird at Fury in a ‘cheeky’ way. Fury then goes on to lay on his brother Shane Fury’s shoulders, similar to how Wilder was. Wilder meanwhile, goes on to smack his own b*tt referencing an a** whooping.

However, things were different this time around. There has been bad blood in the air. Wilder hardly spoke during the presser, trying his best to keep himself focused. There was a lot of ruckus this time backstage, ahead of the final weigh-ins, with Wilder dragging families into his trash talk.

A win here for Wilder will shake up the heavyweight division once again. With the majority of the boxing community expecting a regulatory win for Fury, ‘The Gypsy King’ will be looking forward to doing exactly the same, and keep his plans of becoming the undisputed HW champ intact.
