Figueiredo will be taking on Brandon Moreno in the co-main event of UFC 263, who weighed-in very early. The pair last fought at UFC 256 in a fight that ended in a majority draw. Figueiredo is now set to exact revenge for the unexpected minus point he received at UFC 256, that cost him the match.

Figueiredo has always struggled when it comes to making weight in the flyweight division. He usually appears drained on another level at the weigh ins.
At the pre-fight presser, Figueiredo expressed his desire to move to the bantamweight division if he beats Moreno at UFC 263. The Brazilian said that he wanted to become a two-division champion.
