The 4th fight in the main card of UFC Vegas 30 was a bantamweight bout between Raoni Barcelos and Timur Valiev. Both the fighters have an impressive record in their respective MMA careers. While Barcelos has a record of 16 wins and just one loss in his MMA career, Valiev has 17 wins and 2 losses to his name.

Raoni Barcelos is coming off a unanimous decision victory against Khalid Taha via. unanimous decision, and Timur Valiev last beat Martin Day via. unanimous decision, earlier this year.

Round 1:

Valiev began with a head kick attempt. Short jabs from Valiev followed after a while. They exchanged body kicks. Strong right hand from Valiev. A slow start from both fighters in this round Barcelos’ head-movement looked too good. Towards the middle of the round, Valiev landed nice combo. Barcelos then connected with a short jab of his own. Just in the unexpected of moments, Valiev was caught off-guard and demolished by Barcelos’ flurry of punches. But Valiev saw off until the bell and saved himself. 10-9 Barcelos

Round 3:

They exchanged bombs at the beginning of the round. Valiev looked very aggressive. One-two landed from Valiev. They exchanged leg kicks. Takedown attempt from Valiev, but unsuccessful. Barcelos hit Valiev with a big left hand. A two-punch combo from Barcelos followed after a while. The fight goes the distance. 10-9
