“We saw this with Khabib & Conor”- DC draws parallels between Jorge Masvidal and Khabib’s post fight assaults

Daniel Cormier and Ryan Clark juxtapose the Masvidal Covington beef with the Khabib Conor beef. They shared their thoughts during an episode of DC & RC.
The Khabib vs Conor aftermath is still fresh in the minds of UFC fans. Watching Conor be assaulted in the octagon while Khabib jumped out of the octagon to assault some audience members. The reason their beef heated up so much is because Khabib came from a world where the words which were said are unforgivable. There was no chance they’d make up after the fight.
Masvidal is cut from the same cloth, being from the streets the things said by Covington just couldn’t be forgiven after the fight. Comments were made about his wife and kids which just aren’t things you can do. Covington has been very outspoken ever since his Brazil call-out and didn’t hold back against his former teammate. Covington was supposed to make an appearance at the show but declined after the incident.
“We saw with Khabib and Conor right, Khabib was not willing to let it go. It went too far from him to say, at the end of the fight we’re ok,” Daniel Cormier said.
Jorge Masvidal faces battery charges after assaulting Colby Covington
The Masvidal Covington beef came up during the section discussing Masvidal’s recent battery case. Masvidal is suspected of a felony battery case where the police have not disclosed the name of the victim.
After the incident Masvidal tagged rival Colby Covington in a tweet saying, “You talk that shit, you gotta back it up. That’s how my city rolls man.” Covington was recorded on the scene giving a statement to the police. The person reportedly has a fractured left tooth and a grazed left wrist.
