Valorant has always introduced background lore in some form with each of its main elements in the game. The Valorant New Map Fracture also has the lore of its own, just like Breeze and Icebox, or all of Valorant’s agents. Valorant has been knitting a story with its game right from the very beginning, i.e., from its beta version itself. Several enthusiasts have theories of their own, and so does the gaming community. The article talks about the possible background lore of the upcoming map in Valorant’s Episode 3 Act 2, Fracture.

Valorant New Map Fracture Lore
Valorant is in its peak of Act 1, and will soon be releasing the much-awaited Act 2, Episode 3. The map revolves around the idea shared with the lore video of Duality cinematic, confirming the mirror verse theory and the 2 earths Valorant wanted to portray.
According to Valorant Update, it is geographically located in Canyon, New Mexico, and is a testing ground of Radianite for the infamous Kingdom Industries from Earth 1 and Earth 2. The map basically has two very opposite sides to it, and the middle contains the evidently destroyed collider.
Radianite, the substance produced by the Kingdom Company for generating power has a play in the disaster and Kingdom seems to be involved in causing the collision between two forms of Radianite between earth 1 and 2. There are 2 contrasting sites on the map, the Alpha Sector belonging to Earth 1, and the Omega Sector belonging to Earth 2.
These two sites have contrasting vegetation, orange and green crates of radianite, which brings us back to Valorant in beta having Orange crates and the present one having green.
The cause of the rift or ‘Fracture’ in the map is possibly the collision of two bullets from the unknown guns of Deadeye, as shown in the official teaser. While the actual origin is still not disclosed, the gun cases of both Deadeyes from two earths have been found on either side of the collider. The 5v5 battle might be originating from Earth 2 wanting to steal radianite from Earth 1 since the radianite in the former is toxic and does not support vegetation or life.
While these are all mere speculations, Valorant will soon be releasing the diverse world of their lore, as promised earlier by the creative head. For now, all we can do is wait a few more days for a new world in Valorant.
