Nick Sirianni is soaking in the Super Bowl victory, and rightfully so. Just months after facing calls for his job, the Philadelphia Eagles head coach is now the man of the moment, celebrating in style.

Nick Sirianni, who assumed the Eagles’ coaching position four years ago, has led them to two conference championships and a much-needed Super Bowl win. On February 9, the Eagles overcame the history makers in a lopsided 40-22 win at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

On Saturday night, Sirianni appeared at a local bar in South Jersey, where he didn’t just enjoy a few drinks. He got behind the counter and started pouring shots for the entire crowd. Fans who were lucky enough to be there got their drinks served by the coach who went from being on the cusp of being fired to reveling in glory.

Sirianni also had a swag entrance that caught social media fire. As Benjamin Franklin allegedly said, New Jersey is a barrel tapped at two ends of NYC and Philly. A sizable amount of Eagles fans reside in New Jersey and Sirianni ensured that he interacted with a few of them and shared some good memories.

In 2023, Nick Sirianni made similar headlines, although the story was slightly different. In the aftermath of the Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, then 41-year-old Sirianni shared shots with people at the bar at Brewers Towne Tavern in Haddon Township, New Jersey, around midnight on Saturday with his friends. He stuck around for a few hours, fully embracing the championship celebration.

Nick Sirianni Poised for a Major Contract Extension After Super Bowl Victory

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has silenced his critics and established himself among the NFL’s elite, and his next contract is expected to reflect that status.

Sirianni, who signed a five-year, $35 million deal with the Eagles in 2021, currently earns approximately $7 million annually—making him the 11th-highest-paid coach in the league. However, given his impressive track record, a significant raise appears imminent. In just four seasons, Sirianni has led the Eagles to the playoffs each year, secured two Super Bowl appearances, and now, delivered a championship.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero has suggested that Sirianni’s next contract could command at least $15 million annually, potentially even more. He pointed out that several NFL coaches currently earn upwards of $16 million per year, despite having less postseason success.

If I’m Nick Sirianni, I’m going, ‘well, there’s other guys who are making $13-14 million and haven’t even won a playoff game!’

He further noted that a $15-16 million salary should be considered the baseline for Sirianni’s next deal, aligning with the top-tier coaching market. After their winning season, the Eagles are expected not to be hesitant about paying Sirianni his rightful due.
