After a rocky start, the Philadelphia Eagles have finally gained control over the season, improving to a 6-2 season standing. Their Sunday victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars certainly brought them among the contenders and could further benefit with home game advantage in the playoffs.
The Eagles have once again lit the lamp of hope in the hearts of their fans, intending to advance to the Super Bowl game as they did two years ago. However, sports analyst Dan Orlovsky believes things can still go sideways like late last season’s collapse because of head coach Nick Sirianni.
While discussing the Eagles’ improved 6-2 season record, Orlovksy shared that he doesn’t trust Philly’s head coach because of his decision-making skills. And due to this, he believes it’s tough for the team to win the championship.
I like this football team, I don’t trust the coach. I think this is the only legit playoff contender with a coach as a question mark. The coach is a question mark. No coach takes more points off the board than Nick Sirianni. It’s unacceptable.
Dan Orlovsky said on the recent episode of ESPN’s Get Up

Taking the credit for the victory away from Sirianni’s team, Orlovsky argued that had Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence not thrown a late interception and won Sunday’s game, Sirianni’s position as the head coach of Philadelphia could have been seriously jeopardized.
Dan Orlovsky doubts Eagles’ championship prospects due to Nick Sirianni’s coaching style
This isn’t the first time the ESPN analyst has expressed his doubts regarding Sirianni’s coaching style in the Eagles, especially his decision-making on the sidelines. During his recent appearance on Unsportsmanlike Radio, Orlovsky argued that it’s tough for the Eagles to win a championship with Sirianni as their head coach.

Not this version of Nick Sirianni. I like this football team, I don’t trust the coach. I don’t trust the coach in game-management, situationally football management. Not only that, I don’t trust him when it comes to comparing him to a Dan Campbell or Sean McVay or, shoot, Dan Quinn.
Dan Orlovsky said about Philly’s odds of advancing to the Super Bowl
The Eagles’ head coach was found responsible for last season’s collapse with a six-game losing streak after the impressive 10-1 record till December.
That’s why, despite the fact he coached the Eagles to the Super Bowl LVII game in 2023, he often faces criticism for his rowdy demeanor on the sidelines.
