Iga Swiatek gleams at Roland Garros claiming her first-ever Grand Slam title. Outshining Sofia Kenin 6-4, 6-1, at the 2020 French Open finals on Saturday, the 19-year-old became the first Polish player to ace a Major in the tennis history. Also, she mirrored her idol Rafael Nadal, in winning the crown at the same age.

Iga Swiatek, the youngest winner since 1992, aced the win without dropping even a single set through the tournament. “It’s crazy for me because I watch every year how Rafa lifts this trophy so it’s crazy that I’m in the same place,” all amused Swiatek said in her on-court interview.
