The Bloodline just got wealthier. During the closing moments of the Backlash opener this afternoon, Tanga Loa made his WWE debut. He aided Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga breeze past Randy Orton and Kevin Owens after a 20-minute barn-burner. The fans simply didn’t see it coming. The former NJPW star’s arrival has everyone wondering whether he has any ties with the likes of The Rock and Roman Reigns.

In all fairness, Tanga is not linked with either of the two via blood. Loa is Tonga’s cousin. The MFT has himself sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe despite not even a month into The Bloodline. Both Tonga and Loa are WWE legend Haku‘s sons. The two brothers were a part of the unit known as the Guerrillas of Destiny in NJPW. For the unversed, Tanga has previously wrestled in WWE from 2009-2014.

Following his mess-up at WWE Backlash, Tanga Loa has aligned himself with the newly rechristened Bloodline, seemingly led by Solo Sikoa. Amid such a chaotic conclusion to the aforementioned tag team bout, Paul Heyman was left agape. He simply couldn’t comprehend what lighting had struck God’s green earth this time around, in Lyon, France.

Following Loa’s havoc-wreaking at Backlash, the netizens were quick to share his viral clips from his NJPW stint, where the 40-year-old could be seen throwing baby punches at Kazuchika Okada. The entire dynamics have turned a new leaf, and things haven’t been the same for The Bloodline ever since WrestleMania XL. The Tribal Chief’s Wiseman recently stated that he hasn’t spoken to Roman Reigns since he dropped the title to Cody Rhodes.

Where does The Bloodline stand after roping in another member in Tanga Loa?

On the back of their exploits to kick off the show, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa came face-to-face with Jey Uso backstage. It was a transient staredown before Paul Heyman had a restless look at The Yeet Master, as if he knew that things were only going to go south.

A few days ago, WrestleVotes reported that, despite being on hiatus, Roman Reigns is being said to have a significant creative input in the evolving state of The Bloodline’s story.

Fans are already daydreaming of the reunion of Jimmy and Jey Uso so that they could combat the Guerrillas of Destiny – Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa. Spare a thought for what’s The Rock‘s standing in all of this. Who knows if he’s the one pulling all the strings?
