WWE is going to have its coveted Draft this week on SmackDown. As long as the tradition remains, it has the power to change the trajectory of WWE. However, it won’t be an understatement to say that things are quite complicated this year for WWE to move their superstars. With so many heavy hitters in the mix, it is quite a question to see which superstars find their home on which brand.
Superstars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, and The Bloodline are all eligible to be drafted this Friday. SmackDown is going to have the first pick in Draft 2024. Therefore, it makes it interesting to see who is going to be the first overall draft pick this year. Although the champions are protected, factions are likely to get drafted as a whole, or a split between their members can take place.
1. The Bloodline to SmackDown
Undoubtedly, The Bloodline is most likely to be the first pick in the 2024 Draft. It is the top faction in WWE right now. With ties to stars like The Rock and Roman Reigns, it is the most valuable pick for any brand. Therefore, it is highly likely that the faction will continue to wreak havoc on the blue brand.
However, the status of the Head of the Table is still up in the air. His return date is unknown, as he seems to be busy with his personal life at the moment. Despite that, he is going to remain with The Bloodline for now. In essence, it will be a questionable choice to pick anyone but the longest reigning champion of the modern-day era along with his crew.
2. Seth Rollins to Raw
For the second pick, there are a few better options than Seth Rollins currently on the main roster. He has been part of Monday Night Raw for the majority of his career. And it seems he is going to continue being the face of the show for another year. With The Tribal Chief dominating on Friday nights, it is highly unlikely that WWE would also move Rollins to the blue brand.
Furthermore, among the eligible superstars this week, The Visionary is the most valuable pick for Adam Pearce. Most notably, his recent reign and his work at WrestleMania XL have certainly elevated the caliber of the Revolutionary. Therefore, the first pick overall for Monday Night Raw is most likely to be the former World Heavyweight Champion.
3. Bianca Belair to SmackDown
The next pick for SmackDown is likely to be a female star. With champions secured on the brands, Nick Aldis might choose the former Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, to grace Friday nights. She has been a consistent performer and has proved that she is a huge draw for WWE. Therefore, with stars like Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch most likely being on Raw, the EST might be the pillar of the women’s division on SmackDown.
WWE has made it clear many times that they see a star in the EST. Hence, placing her among the top three picks surely solidifies her as not only the present but also the future of the company. Furthermore, WWE might look to turn the former Women’s Champion heel and move on with an intriguing run with her.
