Valorant has recently released the official trailer of the upcoming bundle in collaboration with the popular artist, Zedd. However, the Valorant Spectrum Bundle seems to be a tad over the line with its price, and many gamers have raised questions about the roots. Priced at 10,700 VP, it surpasses the Elderflame Bundle and has become the most expensive skin in Valorant. With 5 skins in the bundle, an individual skin would cost around 2675 VP, 200 more than the precisely detailed Elderflame collection.

Why is Valorant Spectrum Bundle so Expensive?
Riot Games, with a tweet yesterday, had officially confirmed that they’re collaborating with renowned DJ, record producer, and songwriter Anton Zaslavski, who’s better known as Zedd in the music industry. Riot has teased the upcoming collab through a Tweet, along with a special unveiling event that was held for the gaming community yesterday. The Spectrum bundle will be released today, with the patch notes for Act 2.
However, it came as a shock to most of the community when we learned the bundle will be priced at a whopping 10,700 VP. So what exactly caused this elevated price for, let’s be honest, a fancy Miimia with a cool finisher? Is it the brand value for being a collaboration with Zedd? According to reports, and the official release video, Zedd himself had worked on the audio cues with the Valorant team, and there might be a chance that is one of the reasons.
After the release of the Elderflame collection in Valorant, we had witnessed the game’s premium content art lead, Sean Marino telling, skin sets are “not meant to be ‘cheap’”. “We don’t want players to look at something and say, ‘This feels cheap to me’”. Furthermore, Valorant is entirely free to play. Nothing you can purchase gives you an advantage in the game or more content to play and simply just changes the look of some things. Players are not at all required to buy skins to be able to enjoy all of Valorant.
So, if someone is to feel about the high price of the skins, the battlepass offers more than 10 skins at 10 dollars, making it way more affordable. And apart from the high price, the skins at the end could not be any cooler. From the sound effects to the finisher, everything screams pop and is the first of its kind in Valorant.
