Alexa Bliss is one of the biggest heels in WWE currently. While the WWE Universe is well aware about in-ring prowess, in 2020, she proved that she is an equally creative gimmick performer. During mid-2020, Bliss gave up her “Goddess” gimmick and aligned herself with the Bray Wyatt’s “The Fiend”.
When The Fiend was feuding against Braun Strowman, Bliss was revealed to have alliance with The Fiend. Since then, she regularly appeared in the Firefly Fun House segments, and even adopted Wyatt’s iconic finisher – Sister Abigail. Even when Fiend went off TV, Bliss continued the feud against Randy Orton.
At Wrestlemania 37, Alexa Bliss turned on The Fiend and helped Orton in securing a win. Post this, Fiend was released from the company, whereas Bliss continued her supernatural gimmick. She feuded against Eva Marie and Charlotte Flair. Her feud with Flair was the final one, post which she went on a break from WWE.
As fans await her return to WWE TV, Bliss recently teased that she might be returning to the company soon. She simply wrote “Just Wait” – indicating that she might return in the coming weeks. Interestingly, in her last feud, Charlotte Flair completely destroyed her Lily doll. This could mean that Bliss could return with her old “Goddess” gimmick or in a completely new avatar.
Who could be Alexa Bliss’ new rival?
Alexa Bliss is a part of the WWE Raw roster. Once she returns there are several Superstars on the red brand, who she could go after. The Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is the most likely option. It has been quite some time since we have seen Bliss with a title, and kicking off a Championship feud right as she returns might just be the feud she needs.
Interestingly, Liv Morgan could also be the Champion by the time Bliss returns. Apart from the title feud, the Goddess could even have a massive feud with the EST of WWE, Bianca Belair. Considering the massive fan following both these Superstars have, we could even see this feud extend upto Wrestlemania!
