“I could’ve used you”: Becky Lynch wants to team up with UFC star at Wrestlemania 39
Lynch and McGregor
Becky Lynch is one of the most popular Superstars on the WWE today. She made a thunderous return to WWE at Summerslam 2021 and had pinned Bianca Belair in 26 seconds to win the Smackdown Women’s Championship. She had to exchange the title with Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship, due to the WWE Draft.
Big Time Becks lost the title for the first time in a last couple of years, recently at Wrestlemania 38. She had put the Raw Women’s Championship on the line at the Showcase of Immortals against the EST of WWE. They delivered one of the best matches of the night, which ended with Bianca Belair pinning Becky Lynch, for her second back-to-back Wrestlemania opponent.
Wrestlemania 38 received immense praise from the fans as well as the critics, for delivering a power packed 2-night extravaganza. But there is always a certain group of the fans, who just never seem to be impressed. A few fans asked UFC star Conor McGregor that why did he not appear at the Showcase of Immortals.
McGregor put out a tweet referring to the rumors and mentioned that he wasn’t present at the event, simply because the WWE Superstars were scared of him. Interestingly, the tweet received a surprising response from the former Raw Women’s Champion. Becky Lynch mentioned that she could’ve used Conor McGregor’s help at Mania.
In fact, she went as far as asking him to form a team up at Wrestlemania 39! Next year, the Showcase of Immortals will be taking place in Hollywood. ““Hey man. I could have used you. Bianca brought an army. Next year?” – mentioned Big Time Becks.
Becky Lynch called her match the “Real Biggest match”
Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch delivered a hard-hitting, brutal bout. While it was a highly rated bout, but Big Time Becks went as far as claiming that her bout was way better than Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar. The Title Unification match was advertised as the “Biggest match in Wrestlemania history”.
Roman Reigns won the match, which was good throughout but the ending was a let-down. Taking a shot at the match, Lynch mentioned “The real biggest match in Wrestlemania history. She came with an army. I came alone. And I’ll come back even stronger.”
