WATCH: Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch suffers shocking loss in 12 seconds

Raw Women's Champion

Becky Lynch has been on a dominant run since she returned from her maternity break at Summerslam 2021. Moments after returning, she challenged Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. If her return wasn’t shocking enough, there was more in store. She pinned the EST of WWE in 26 seconds to become the Champion.

The loss hurt Bianca Belair’s push quite massively. She had been built as a dominant force but a loss in half-a-minute hurt her run. But now it seems like WWE is trying to build her up again. When you are trying to build up a babyface, what’s better than seeking revenge! That’s exactly what the EST of WWE recently did on the latest episode of Raw.

The recent episode of the Red brand ended with Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch coming face to face with Hall of Famer Lita. But after the show went off air, Lita convinced the Raw Women’s Champion for a match against the EST of WWE. In a shocking turn of events, Belair hit a KOD and pinned Big Time Becks in 12 seconds! This shocking loss won’t be hurting Becky Lynch much as it was a non-televised match. But this could be a hint that WWE is looking to build up Bianca Belair once again. In fact, she was also seen on a televised match, where she defeated Carmella. Unfortunately, the crowd wasn’t too thrilled with Belair’s win and this could mean that it would be long before Belair is back on top.

The latest episode of Raw saw the Women’s Royal Rumble winner Ronda Rousey announcing that she hasn’t decided her Wrestlemania opponent. Becky Lynch had come out to demand the main event match, but was interrupted by the WWE Hall of Famer Lita.

The Hall of Famer demanded a match for the Raw Women’s Championship at Elimination Chamber. While Lynch’s initial reaction was a direct no, she later agreed to the match. Two of the biggest Superstars on the roster would be heading to Saudi Arabia to collide for the title.

Elimination Chamber airs live on 19th February, 2022.
