Birthday wishes pour in for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Natalya

Natalya has played one of the most crucial roles in pushing the boundaries of the women’s division in WWE. She might not have received the chances that she deserves on the main card but she has always stood for the entire WWE women’s division.

From winning the first ever WWE women’s match in Saudi Arabia, to ensuring that most of the women’s division get a chance to perform at Wrestlemania 37, Natalya has done it all. The one-half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, Natalya celebrated her birthday 39th birthday recently.

Friends and colleagues from WWE filled her social media feeds with birthday wishes, and it only solidifies the love and respect that the entire roster has for her.

Natalya playfully challenged Indi Hartwell for a Champions vs Champions match. Natalya and Tamina hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles, while Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae hold the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles.

Renee Paquette launched a new episode of her Oral Sessions podcast on Natalya’s birthday, featuring Natalya and tag team partner Tamina.

During her appearance on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast, Natalya acknowledged Vince McMahon’s efforts for the women’s matches that took place in Saudi Arabia. In October 2019, Natalya defeated Lacey Evans in a historic first-ever women’s WWE match in Saudi Arabia. Prior to that match, female stars were never allowed to perform at WWE shows in Saudi Arabia.

“Yeah, Vince is a very complex and dynamic character, of course we all know the character of Mr. McMahon. But he’s somebody that’s made my dreams come true and Tamina’s dreams come true. Everything from me having that moment in Saudi Arabia, where people don’t know how hard Vince fought for the women to have a match in Saudi Arabia,” mentioned Natalya.

The match opened doors for the female Superstars to perform in Saudi Arabia. Bayley and Naomi also performed in a match there. It still isn’t clear whether WWE is planning to perform in Saudi Arabia this year.
