2023 will be remembered as one of the most memorable years for WWE. Not only was the audience presented with intriguing storylines, but several stars were made in the process. The quality of the segments was top-notch as WWE Creative exerted itself into forming attention-grabbing deliveries.

There were some cases of criticism as well. For instance, Monday Night Raw was getting repetitive around the Judgment Day-centric main events. However, the growing numbers of Babyfaces made sure that the rivalries delivered refreshing moments.

With the ascension of the game Triple H on the Creative Throne, there are promising possibilities for serious improvements. 2024 could turn out to be even bigger and better for the WWE roster. So, without further ado, here are the five bold predictions that fans might see unfold before them, starting at Raw Day One.

5. Sami Zayn once again kickstarts his underdog story

Sami Zayn‘s involvement with the Bloodline not only gave him the best moments of his career, but they were also one of the best segments in the history of WWE. He even won the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles alongside his brethren, Kevin Owens.

Unfortunately, their reign didn’t last long after Judgment Day. The result was that both Kevin and Sami went their separate ways.

With him alone on Monday Night Raw, legends like Ric Flair have questioned the WWE creative’s vision for one of the hottest stars of 2023. It would be the right decision if the creative chooses to revamp him by once again tapping his roots.

Going against the visionary, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins might be the way ahead. It would not only revive his signature underdog image, but his workhorse spirit might sync with the title, possibly securing him a greater chance at winning his first world title.

4. Sasha Banks making her return to WWE

Sasha Banks left the Stamford-based company due to her dissatisfaction with the head of management. However, it has been long since she departed, and the person at the creative helm has also changed.

Moreover, she has already fulfilled her dream of wrestling in Japan and capturing the IWGP Women’s Title. With no bad blood between The Boss and WWE, chances are high that Raw Day One might be getting a stupendous return from her.

With the Eradicator, Rhea Ripley, scheduled to face the young Ivy Nile, there are high possibilities that the Champion will continue her reign. However, WWE may choose to bring the necessary change of finally dropping a challenging foe to the reign of Ripley.

3. Jey Uso starts his WrestleMania Feud

Thanks to Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso was traded to Monday Night Raw. The former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion has been able to showcase his prowess through multiple feuds. However, fans can’t help but notice a lack of direction for the UCE. Many believe that restarting his feud with his brother Jimmy is long overdue.

What could be a better way than to announce Jey’s entry for the Royal Rumble Match at Raw Day One? It could eventually make the brothers once again cross each other’s paths. While a win might not be in either’s pocket, the occasion might act as a trigger for their WrestleMania match.

2. Brock Lesnar returns for one last feud

It has been long since the Beast graced the WWE squared circle. He last locked horns with the American Nightmare in a trilogy that was concluded at Summer Slam 2023.

2023 was memorable for Lesnar’s fans, as they saw a different, jovial side of him. While he doesn’t seem to have slowed down a bit, there is very little left for him to prove in WWE.

The Ring General, Gunther, might be next in line as the challenger for the Beast. It has been a dream match that was briefly teased at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Since then, fans have been eager for the occasion when these two super athletes would finally go loggerheads.

1. Damian Priest successfully cashes in his Money in the Bank Contract

While fans have seen MITB winners who have held the briefcase for a longer time, Priest’s tenure as an MITB holder has been a bit stale. With too many main event potential stars, Senor Money in the Bank seems to be losing the spotlight.

Raw Day One could be the occasion for granting him his moment. The Visionary is scheduled to face the Scottish Warrior with his World Heavyweight Championship on the line.

It would not only grant the former NXT North American Champion a much-needed World Title run but would also bring freshness to the World Heavyweight Title picture. Meanwhile, the visionary could use this time to stir the pot against the best in the world.
