Update on former WWE superstar Bray Wyatt’s negotiations with Impact Wrestling
Wyatt
Bray Wyatt is one of the most popular stars in the professional wrestling industry today. His release from WWE earlier this year was one of the most shocking releases from the company this year. With his alter ego “The Fiend”, Wyatt had become one of the most dominant superstars of the company. The WWE Universe was expecting some great performances from the star, but he was abruptly released – owing to the budget cuts.
Since his released from the company the fans were interested in knowing that what would be Wyatt’s next move. In fact, Bray Wyatt was rumoured to appear on Impact Wrestling’s recently concluded show – Bound for Glory. It was being reported that despite still being under the 90-day no compete clause Wyatt would be appearing for the event.
Fans were disappointed when there was no such surprise in store. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, there is no deal between Wyatt and Impact Wrestling that is close to happening. But this is not all – the company has even failed to bring Braun Strowman on board as well. The talks with Strowman were close to being sealed but it seems like the deal didn’t pan out between the two parties.
Impact Wrestling tried its best to deliver several massive surprises to the fans at bound for glory but unfortunately it turned out to be a lacklustre event. Reportedly, Bronson Reed was also boobed to be a part of the event but for reasons unknown his appearance was cancelled too.
Braun Strowman wants to face Bray Wyatt
Braun Strowman, unlike Bray Wyatt, had teased that he might be appearing on Impact Wrestling under a new ring name – Titan. Fans were confident that Strowman will definitely appear on Impact Wrestling but it seems like the wait just got a little longer. Had both the Superstars appeared on Impact Wrestling, the roster would’ve gotten a massive boost, considering their popularity.
But on the brighter side of things, fans are not the only ones who want them on the same roster. In fact, Strowman himself mentioned that he would love to face his former stablemate from WWE’s The Wyatt Family. Strowman had appeared for an interview with Control Your Narrative, where the former Universal Champion mentioned that he would love to face his brother Windham (Wyatt’s real name).
