Since the Covid-19 pandemic swept the United States and the rest of the world, WWE programming has witnessed significant changes. They went from thousands of fans in attendance to empty arenas and ultimately to virtual fans. They used to perform every week in a new arena, which was replaced by the constant WWE Performance Center. Currently the shows are aired live from WWE’s Thunderdome.

WWE pay-per-views too aired from the empty WWE Performance Center. It also allowed WWE to experiment with the matches. Their experiment of having the Money in The Bank Match simultaneously inside the WWE Headquarters earned them great reviews. There have been reports that WWE’s plans for their flagship event, Wrestlemania too have changed for 2021.

Just like WWE’s plans have changed throughout 2020, same is the case for 2021. Reports suggests that WWE is planning to shift the event from March 28, 2021 to April 11 or April 18. This will help them in bringing the fans in for the event.

This year the event was aired from WWE’s Performance Center. The event was spread over 2 days and had a whopping 19 matches including a couple of cinematic matches. Wrestlemania 37’s location was recently shifted from SoFi Stadium in California to the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

While the matches for the marquee event have not be announced, some reports are going around regarding the match card. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns who was recently involved in a family feud with The Usos will be action. Reports suggest that he will be facing off against his other cousin Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

WWE Champion Randy Orton will reportedly be facing The Rated-R Superstar Edge. Their feud will reportedly conclude on WWE’s biggest night. There have rumors that the match will have the WWE Championship on the line. It is too early to confirm these reports, but these bookings would definitely attract fans back to the arena.
