WWE Crown Jewel 2021: Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair set to battle in a match worthy of main-eventing Wrestlemania
Belair and Lynch
WWE Crown Jewel 2021 is just a week away and the entire card is so packed that it could well be a Wrestlemania event. So far, 9 matches have been announced on the card – with 4 Championships on the line and 2 stipulation matches. Additionally, two finals for title matches will also be taking place – King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown.
The event, undoubtedly, will be main evented by the Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. But there is another match on the card that is equally exciting and has equal potential of being a Wrestlemania main-event. The Smackdown Women’s Championship will be on the line in a Triple Threat match.
Becky Lynch will be putting the title on the line against the EST of WWE, Bianca Belair, and the Boss, Sasha Banks. They are easily 3 of the biggest Superstars in the company today and interestingly, each of them have main-evented the Showcase of Immortals. The feud is one of the most intense rivalries on the card and might even lead to one of the best matches of the night.
The rivalry has been going on since before Wrestlemania 37. Initially, the feud only involved Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks. Soon after Belair became the Champion, Banks went back after the title. They were scheduled to face each other at Summerslam, but Banks wasn’t cleared to compete, and Becky Lynch replaced her, making her much-awaited return to the company.
Lynch returned at defeated Belair in 26 seconds to win the title. This kicked off a feud between Lynch and Belair. The EST of WWE earned her rematch at WWE Extreme Rules, but interestingly, Sasha Banks made her return to the company interrupting during the match making this a three-way feud.
All 3 Superstars have immense heat heading into WWE Crown Jewel 2021
WWE has done an immense job to ensure that each of the 3 Superstars have immense momentum heading into the Smackdown Women’s Championship match at WWE Crown Jewel 2021. Each of them had an upper-hand at least once over their opponents, during the build up.
Out of the 3, Bianca Belair has the most momentum heading into this match, making her most likely to win the title. But it is quite unlikely for WWE to go ahead with a title-switch at the Saudi Arabia event.
