“I want nothing more”: Current Champion wants to face Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 38

Rollins
Seth Rollins is one of the most popular Superstars on the WWE currently. While he was easily the top Superstar of the company, in the last couple of years, his gimmicks have certainly pulled him down. Things were going really well when he has “The Architect” but things really started going downhill when he became “Monday Night Messiah”.
WWE managed to control the damage when they introduced the “Visionary” gimmick. A humorous touch was added to him, making him more bearable by the WWE Universe. Things recently got really interesting with him, when Rollins wasn’t made a part of the Wrestlemania card. Throughout his career he has delivered several Wrestlemania moments, but for some reason, he just couldn’t find a place on Showcase of Immortals this year.
Rollins tried to become a part of the Raw Tag Team scene, but couldn’t. He tried to get his own talk show on the Wrestlemania card, but couldn’t get that either. Finally, he was called to Chairman Vince McMahon’s office – where Seth Rollins was told that he will be going to Wrestlemania 38. But his mystery opponent wasn’t revealed.
With Vince McMahon announcing that Seth Rollins will be going to Wrestlemania 38 and facing a mystery opponent, the Monday Night Messiah is no longer looking for an opponent. But there is someone on the roster who wants to face Rollins at the Showcase of Immortals. In a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler expressed his desire to face Rollins.
“I would prefer to do nothing more than to do double duty on WrestleMania weekend with one of the greatest NXT champions of all time—me—vs. Seth. We had so many battles together that we used to go to Vince and say, ‘We can’t do this match again,’ yet we always turned it around,” mentioned the NXT Champion. Ziggler is scheduled to defend the NXT Championship during the Wrestlemania week, against Bron Breakker.
Who could be Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent?

The mystery opponent is set to be “handpicked” by WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon. But its hardly a mystery for anyone. It has been rumored for weeks now that former AEW star Cody Rhodes has signed with the company, and will be showing up to face Seth Rollins. It is almost certainty that he will be going after Seth Rollins.
But the company could’ve planned a swerve too. Recent reports suggest that Shane McMahon is also scheduled to be present at Wrestlemania 38. Considering Vince’s involvement in this segment, Shane could also be the one who comes out to face Rollins.
