Bliss pinned Flair during a dark match
WWE Extreme Rules is just a few hours away and frankly, the build up for this event is nowhere close to the Summerslam one. But to be fair, Extreme Rules is considered to be more of a B-level PPV for the company. Only 6 matches are scheduled to be a part of the event and 5 of these will be having Championships on the line.
Only 2 Championships from WWE’s Red brand Raw are going to be on the line – Raw Women’s Championship and the United States Championship. The Raw Women’s title is one of the most exciting matches on the card – mainly because it marks the return of Alexa Bliss in a title feud.
Flair is currently in her 12th reign as a Champion and was the favorite to retain. But on the latest WWE Supershow, Charlotte Flair was pinned by Alexa Bliss! Bliss had teamed up with Smackdown Superstar Bianca Belair to face Charlotte Flair and Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
The latest WWE Supershow event took place at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa. The team of the baybyfaces picked up a massive win over the heels when Alexa Bliss pinned Flair. But this does not exactly indicate that Bliss will be winning the title at WWE Extreme Rules. Usually, the faces pick up wins during the live, non-televised events.

Considering WWE Extreme Rules is a B-level PPV for the company, only a few of the Championships are going to be on the line. This is a PPV that is considered to be one of the most brutal PPVs because almost every match has a stipulation. Surprisingly this year, out of all the 6 matches only one match has a stipulation – Universal Championship match.
Both the main roster shows – Raw and Smackdown will have three matches each. Reportedly, the PPV will air for around 3 and a half hours with the Roman Reigns vs Demon Finn Balor match expected to be the PPV.
