Former MLW Heavyweight Champion, Jacob Fatu has the fans brimming with exhilaration over his imminent WWE debut. However, there’s some sort of trepidation within WWE creative that the 32-year-old’s arrival could outshine current Bloodline kingpin, Solo Sikoa, per WrestleVotes. As evident through his exploits since post-WrestleMania XL, The Street Champion has turned the heat on and is willingly recruiting new members to The Bloodline.

Despite Sikoa’s recent aggressive streak, he may be subdued by Jacob Fatu‘s presence, as some feel in WWE. The yet-to-debut Anoa’i family member signed with the Stamford-based promotion back in early April. Moreover, he was rumored to make his on-screen debut a while ago. However, those plans fell through. Ahead of last weekend’s Backlash PLE, the former MLW Champion was spotted at the WWE headquarters.

It sparked immediate speculation among the WWE Universe that he’d finally show up in France, but to no avail. Instead, former NJPW star and ex-member of the Guerrillas of Dynasty, Tanga Loa, debuted to help Sikoa and “MFT” Tama Tonga run through Randy Orton and Kevin Owens in an impromptu street fight. Loa’s outing was further criticized for botching his own spot, as captured by some of the fans in attendance.

Nonetheless, the rechristened state of Bloodline marches into this week’s SmackDown with some authority. Paul Heyman is apparently not the mastermind behind the recent overhaul of the group. He was even pleading with Jey Uso in a backstage faceoff at Backlash after the Bloodline trio had passed through The Yeet Master. There are more questions than answers, and the WWE Universe would hope to get some of those this Friday on SmackDown.

Roman Reigns has the backstage pull to the evolving Bloodline story

Roman Reigns has been on an indefinite hiatus from WWE since losing his title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. However, despite not being on television, The Tribal Chief is reportedly pulling all the strings in the ongoing phase of The Bloodline’s saga.

Not that long ago, WrestleVotes stated that the record-breaking Undisputed WWE Champion will have significant creative input in whatever Bloodline does in the foreseeable future. There’s no date set in stone for Reigns’ return though.

But it must be added that he was, at one point, advertised for the last SmackDown before SummerSlam. One would believe that Roman will compete at The Biggest Party of the Summer, or at least make his presence felt at the PLE in Cleveland.
