Finn Balor headed for a massive role on WWE Raw

Balor

Finn Balor, is one of the biggest Superstars in the world of professional wrestling today. After spending years on the black and gold brand – NXT, Balor recently appeared on Smackdown. This was his second stint on the main roster, after the first one ended abruptly due to an injury.

As soon as the two-time WWE NXT Champion appeared on the Blue brand, he went after the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. After delivering a blockbuster feud, spanning over a couple of months, Balor is now moving to the Red brand. The WWE Draft 2021 recently concluded and The Prince was drafted to the Red brand.

It is being reported that Balor is going to be pushed as the top star on Raw, similar to Drew McIntyre’s push in the last two years. The Scottish Warrior has been drafted to the Blue brand and will reportedly feud against the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. On the other hand, Finn Balor, who is also the inaugural Universal Champion, is going to be pushed massively on Raw.

On the Red brand, WWE Champion Big E is currently in the middle of his epic title reign, and WWE might not decide on pitting two babyfaces against each other. Instead, WWE could decide to firs establish Balor as a dominant force, and then bring him into the title scene, after a couple of months.

After being back on the main roster, Balor went after the Universal Championship, a title which he never lost. He was initially scheduled to face Roman Reigns at WWE Summerslam 2021, but some interruptions pushed him out of the match. He soon got his shot at the title, on Smackdown as well as at Extreme Rules.

In fact, Finn Balor even brought out his The Demon persona at the latest WWE PPV, to face Reigns. But some unfortunate incident – ring malfunction, led to the end of Demon’s winning streak. Sincce then, Balor has been off WWE TV, and will be seen on the red brand. The Draft comes into effect after WWE Crown Jewel.
